XP & Leveling
The leveling system rewards active members with experience points (XP) and level-ups. You can configure level rewards, XP rates, and announcements to keep your community engaged.
How It Works
Users earn XP by chatting in text channels. As they accumulate XP, they level up. You can assign rewards (like roles) for reaching specific levels.
Configuration
To set up leveling, go to Dashboard → Settings → XP & Leveling.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Enabled | Master toggle to enable or disable the entire XP system. |
| XP Multiplier | Multiplier for XP gain. Set to 1 for normal rate, 2 for double XP, etc. |
| Level-Up Message Channel | The channel where level-up announcements are posted. Leave empty to disable announcements. |
| Blocked Channels | Up to 10 channels where users will not earn XP. Useful for bot-command or spam channels. |
Level Rewards
You can configure automatic rewards that users receive when they reach a specific level. Rewards are managed in the Dashboard → Settings → XP & Leveling → Level Rewards section.
Reward Types
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Role | Automatically assigns a Discord role when the user reaches the specified level. |
| Webhook | Fires an HTTP request to an external URL. Configure the method (GET/POST/PUT/DELETE/PATCH), body (max 512 chars), and content type. Body variables: {username}, {user}, {server_id}. |
Setting Up Level Rewards
- Go to Settings → XP & Leveling.
- In the Level Rewards section, click Add Reward.
- Set the Level (1–255) at which the reward triggers. You can have up to 5 rewards.
- Choose the reward type (Role or Webhook) and configure it.
- Save your settings.
Commands
| Command | Description |
|---|---|
/profile [user] | View your (or another user's) level, XP, and rank card. |
Tips
- Use Blocked Channels to prevent XP farming in bot-command channels.
- Combine the XP Multiplier with events (e.g., double XP weekends) to boost engagement.
- Set up a dedicated Level-Up Message Channel to avoid cluttering general chat.
