Custom Voice Channels
Let your users create their own temporary voice channels on demand. When a user joins a designated "creator" channel, the bot automatically creates a new private voice channel for them.
How It Works
- You designate a Creator Channel — a voice channel that acts as a trigger.
- When a user joins the Creator Channel, the bot instantly creates a new voice channel in the specified category.
- The channel name is customizable using templates.
- When all users leave the created voice channel, it is automatically deleted.
Configuration
To set up custom voice channels, go to Dashboard → Settings → Custom Voice Channels.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Category | The Discord category where new voice channels will be created. (Required) |
| Creator Channel | The voice channel that users join to trigger channel creation. (Required) |
| Channel Name | Template for the created channel's name (max 64 characters). Variables: {username} for the creator's display name, {user} for the creator's numeric Discord user ID. |
Example Setup
- Create a category called "Voice Channels" in your Discord server.
- Create a voice channel called "➕ Create VC" inside that category.
- In the Dashboard, set:
- Category → "Voice Channels"
- Creator Channel → "➕ Create VC"
- Channel Name →
{username}'s channel
- Save settings. Now when a user joins "➕ Create VC", a new channel like "John's channel" is created automatically.
Tips
- Place the Creator Channel at the top of the category for visibility.
- Use a clear name for the Creator Channel (e.g., "➕ Create VC" or "Join to Create").
- The
{username}variable in the channel name template will be replaced with the creator's display name.{user}is available for the creator's numeric Discord user ID.
