Installation & Setup

Getting started with Flade is simple. Follow the steps below to fully configure the bot on your server.

Step 1: Inviting the Bot

  1. Visit the main page flade.app.
  2. Click the "Add to Discord" button.
  3. Select the server you want to add the bot to.
  4. Ensure the bot has Administrator permissions (recommended for all features to work correctly) or configure them manually.

Note: Flade requires Manage Roles and Manage Channels permissions for features like Leveling, Shop, or the Ticket System.

Step 2: Role Positioning

For the bot to assign ranks (e.g., for levels) or manage moderation, its role on Discord must be positioned above the roles of the users it needs to manage.

  1. Go to Server Settings -> Roles.
  2. Find the Flade role (automatically created upon inviting).
  3. Drag it to the very top of the list (above user roles).

Step 3: Dashboard

Most configuration is done through our web panel.

  1. Log in to the Dashboard.
  2. Select your server from the list.
  3. Go to the Overview tab to see statistics.
  4. Enable the modules you are interested in within the Settings tab.

Troubleshooting

If the bot is not responding to commands:

  • Check if it has permissions to read and write in the channel.
  • Make sure you are using Slash commands (/).
  • If the problem persists, join our Support Server.
